Deaf Dog and the Indictments’ performance at the Millennium Stage furthers the band’s commitment to reaching out to the community in a manner that is vastly different from the judges’ weekday professional role hearing criminal, family and probate cases in DC Superior Court.  The band’s previous gigs include performances at The Bitter End in New York City, Children’s National Medical Center, Armed Forces Retirement Home, Washington Retirement Home, Virginian Retirement Home and the Fraternal Order of Police DC Lodge.  The band plays crowd-pleasing renditions of classic rock-n-roll, Motown and R&B hits from the 60s and 70s.   
 
The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage was created in 1997 as a community-focused venue; no tickets are required and the public views the concert for free.  This stage, which has featured Norah Jones and the Joffrey Ballet, last year added Deaf Dog and the Indictments to its list of talented headliners, with a record crowd.  This is the band’s long-awaited return performance to a favorite venue.
